The Gardens
The owners (who have lived in the main house for 39 years) inherited a well laid out traditional garden which dates from 1914. The garden has evolved slowly and naturally over 90 years. It includes herbaceous borders, ponds, hedges, significant specimen trees and a wide variety of plants, flowers and shrubs that provide colour and interest at all times of the year. The gardens about the larger cottages make them particularly suitable for outside entertaining.
